ABOUTMEMBERSHIP

DONOR

• Person from Telugu background, who resides in UAE with valid Emirates ID and who pays the prescribed membership fees.
• Donor members shall be entitled for life all the rights and privileges of a Life Member plus the right to:
• Enjoy the special honorary title of “Telugu Association Donor Member”,
• Enjoy and receive discounts offered by the Telugu Association.
• Donor Member is eligible to participate in voting of Telugu Association Election.
• Donor Member is eligible to become a part of board of directors subject to complete minimum of 1(one) year from the date of payment of donation and approved by the founding members.
• Donor Member – Donations of AED 10,000.00 (Ten Thousand only) and above shall be classified as a “Telugu Association Donor Member” and shall be privilege of life member to his immediate family and children below 21 years.

LIFE MEMBER

• Person from Telugu background, who is a resident in UAE & with valid Emirates ID
• Paying the prescribed membership fees.
• Life members are eligible to participate in voting of Telugu Association Election.
• Life members will qualify to become a part of board of directors subject to having served in working committee for a minimum of 1(one) full term of 2 (two) years and approved by the founding members.
• Life membership will be for a period of 10 years from the date of payment of fees.

• Life Member Fee - AED 3,000.00 (Three Thousand only) This includes self, spouse, and children below 21 years.

ASSOCIATE MEMBER

• Person from Telugu background, who resides in UAE with valid Emirates ID and who pays the prescribed membership fees. Associate members will not have voting rights.
• Associate membership will be for a period of 1 Year (12 months only) from the date of payment of fees.

• Associate Member Fee (Solo) – AED 150.00 (One hundred and fifty only)
• Associate Member Fee (Family) – AED 300.00 (Three hundred only) This includes self, spouse and children below 15 years. Additional fee of AED 75/- will be applicable for children between the age of 15-21 years.

DO's AND DONT's OF BECOMING A MEMBER

• Membership is restricted to people of Telugu origin in UAE
• A nominal fee is charged to become a member of the association. The fees collected from members will be kept in a separate fund is used for operational expenses of the society
• The Telugu Association reserves the right to admit any member, subject to verification of the credentials of the members and will have the right to seek additional information and documentation to verify the information provided by the applicants by seeking additional identity documentation.
• Telugu Association reserves the right to reject the application for membership or cancel the existing membership for providing false or misleading information by the member or for violating the rules and objectives of the Telugu association, In case of such termination, the membership fees paid shall be non-refundable.
• Person becoming a member shall be filling out the membership application form and shall give a self-declaration.
• Any Person of 21 years or above can only apply as an independent member under any category.
